Magnets

Last week we talked about magnets.

A magnet is a very special metal. When a magnet goes near a special kind of metal or other magnets, and the poles touching are opposite, it will pull, attract the other metal or magnet closer. If the two poles are the same, the two magnets will push away, repel from each other. This is called magnetism.

The children had a hands-on experience with magnets. They all loved experimenting different material with magnets. We also had 2 worksheets to work out. These are some photos I took during the lessons.

Punctuation marks

Punctuation marks are symbols that are used to aid the clarity and comprehension of written language. Some common punctuation marks are the periodcommaquestion mark, exclamation pointapostrophe and quotation mark.
After learning about these during our lessons the children drew the following drawings.
Well done!

Internet Safety

Last week our school had activities going on into different classes about 'Internet Safety'. Our class with the help of Ms Lara had the opportunity to take part. First we listened to the story of 'The little Red Riding Hood'. Then we discussed the story and also discussed how to stay safe on the net through this story. Also during this lesson we used the Bee Bot and online drawing.
The following are some photos taken during this lesson.
